Northwest Migration

Adameth with everyone's attention focused on him, he says, "I shall now pick who will travel with me northwest, to gather resources. I want Kalimah and her group of women, Heavinus, and part of Steff's group of men, to come with me to gather resources. I will leave Aqualis to watch over Khan and his men, to make sure they rebuild our shelters; and Aqualis will have assistance from some of Steff's men. Durgrah and her group of women can stay behind and watch over Khan and his men, as well. Aqualis and Heavinus, split up Steff's men evenly among yourselves."
Aqualis and Heavinus meet-up with each other to split Steff's men among themselves. They split up his men and one extra man is left. "I think you should get the extra man, Heavinus.", Aqaulis said. "Why do you think that brother?", Heavinus asks. "Well you may need the an extra man for that journey, especially while those creatures are lurking around. I got extra help from Durgrah and her group of women, so I won't really need the extra man.", Aqualis explains. "Good point brother. I'll take the extra man.", Heavinus said.
Adameth approaches Evena and asks, "What would you like to do my darling?"
Evena replies, "I would like stay here until you get back my love."
"Very well then. I shall see you later.", Adameth states while giving Evena a hug and kiss. Artima walking up to Harmona, says, "This is great sister. I'm going with Kalimah and her group of women to gather resources."
"I bet it is sister.",  Harmona agrees. "Well, I will see you later Harmona.", Artima says. "See you later Artima.", Harmona says back to her. Harmona then gets hugged from behind by her son and daughter. "Urca and Etnu.", she says with surprise. "We have been chosen to go with grandfather Adameth to gather resources.", Etnu mentions to Harmona. "That is great for you two. I hope you two stay safe while you travel, and look out for one another.", Harmona states. "Mother we battled those creatures and held our own, and we can hold our own again.", Urca states. "Well just look out for each other for me and your father, who the both of you need to talk to before you go off with your grandfather.", Harmona states. Etnu and Urca both agree and go tell their father Aqualis that they're traveling with their grandfather. Aqualis gives them hugs and they then leave. Adameth leaves followed by Kalimah and her group of women, and Heavinus and his group of men. Artima and Urca are with Kalimah's group, and Etnu is with Heavinus's group.
Adameth leading the way, they travel along side of a river. Passing through trees a distinct sound of leaving cracking behind. Adameth held up his spear to signal for everyone to stop. The sound continued on. Adameth looked around real fast and a Lion leaps and tackles him off his horse. Adameth holding the spear in the lions mouth, pushes the lions head back. The lion goes to scratch him, but is speared to death by Artima, Heavinus, and Kalimah. Kalimah asks, "Are you okay father?"
"Yes.", Adameth responds while getting up from the ground, and hopping back on his horse. "Skin the lion for fur. We will need it for the night.", He says to Artima. "Yes father.", Artima responds and goes to skin the lion. Kalimah asks, "What now father?"
"We continue riding on, but be aware of oncoming wild animal attacks and those creatures we fought.", Adameth explains. "Very well then.", Kalimah says. They continue riding their horses northwest. They then get cut off by the intersection of the river. Adameth looks across and sees good vegetable crops growing wildly. Kalimah asks, "How will we get over there?"
"I have no idea. It seems as though the river travels on for a good while in the opposite direction, but that will take even longer and who knows when we will be able to get to the other side.", Adameth explains. "Well its getting dark, and we won't be able to see if we continue on any further.", Kalimah mentions. "Good thinking.", Adameth says to her, and then turns to face everyone, "We will set-up camp for the night. So let's gather the resources to prepare for the night."
Everyone scattered across the area picking up branches, pulling weed vines, and picking leaves. Urca walking through some trees, collecting twigs for fire, stops and notices a satellite device in a small open field and two males next to it, talking. One man has a long black beard and bald head, while the other barely has any facial hair and short shiny black head hair. The man with the long black beard says to the shiny black hair man, "We need to dismantle this satellite before we are caught."
The shiny black hair man responds, "Something tells me they already traced the signal. I don't understand why we have to dismantle these things once they're used. Why not just leave them after we had used them?"
The long black bearded man says, "We have limited tech resources, and you want to leave a perfectly good satellite for the enemy to gain hold of. Just get to work before they find us."
Urca steps out into the field, curious to know who the two males are and what is the device in the middle of the field. Urca calls out to the two males, "Hey!"; the two men turn their heads quickly and are shocked to see her. "I was wondering if you two are with the tribe, because I have never see you two around before? I also wanted to know what that thing is?", she asks as she points to the satellite. The two men talk quietly to each other, with the long bearded man asking the shiny black hair man, "Have you seen this lady before?"
The shiny black hair man responds, "No I have not. She may be one of those people without powers. She could be trouble if we tell her anything. I say we kill her."
The long bearded man says, "And make it known that people from Ender's side was here? Do you think before you say anything.", and the shiny black hair man stays silent, "Just pretend like we are on Oliver side and that we're taking care of private business for....what they call him?.....The Supreme.", the long black bearded man says. They both nod and look back at Urca. The shiny black hair man says to her, "We are helpers of the Supreme, and we are handling private matters right now. This thing was put here by people who work for Ender, and we must inspect this thing without any of the people from Adameth's tribe around. This thing could be dangerous, so we're going to have to ask you to....."; "If you two work for the Supreme, then where are your wings.", a voice interrupts. The men and Urca look around to figure out where the voice came from. "Above you.", the voice speaks again. They all look up and see two people, male and female, flying above their heads. "I knew it was only a matter of time before we were compromised. Told you we should of killed her.", the man with the shiny black hair says to the long black bearded man. The female and male land on the ground. The male has golden hair and blue eyes, and the female has long black hair. The male golden hair walks over to Urca and says, "Hi Urca. I am Miachae Lamothe. I am an actual helper of Oliver, as you can see by the wings and symbol on my armor.", he flexes his wings, "You need to head back to the others. Its already dark. We'll handle these guys."
Urca nods and heads back to the rest of the tribe. She bumps into her brother Etnu, who has been looking for her. Urca tells him about the two men in the woods with a satellite, and how they were pretending to be helpers of Oliver, but actual helpers of Oliver showed up. Etnu was not sure whether to believe her or not, so he insisted they held back to the camp they built for the night. They head back to the camp and sleep until dawn. Adameth sits on the riverside shore looking across the river  at the abundance of edible crop on the other side. Adameth wonders how will they get over to the other side. Kalimah approaches him and asks, "Why don't you ask the supreme for assistance?"
Adameth nods and calls out to the Supreme. The Supreme telepathically speaks with Adameth. The Supreme asks, "You have called out to me Adameth?"
"Yes dear lord. We see enough crops across the water to feed our entire tribe, but we have no way to get across. Is there anyway you can help us?", Adameth explains. The Supreme responds, "Yes. Take six tree logs and tie them together with vines. Once you have finished, the structure you've built is known by my people as a raft. Have a few equal amount people gather on the raft and others push it into the water, but before you do that, be sure to collect strong long thick rounded branches for each person getting on the raft, and have them line up equally on different sides of the raft opposite of each other, facing towards the other side of the river. Then tell them to dip the long branches into the water and swipe backwards. This should help you get some people across the water to gather some crops and bring it back over."
Adameth says, "Thanks my lord. That is all I needed you for."
The Supreme responds, "Very well then. Have a safe journey across the river Adameth.", and his voice fades. Adameth tells everyone to gather six logs, lots of vines, and eight branches. They gather the vines, branches, and logs. They build a raft, and eight people gather onto the raft into lines on different sides of the raft, opposite of each other. The people on the raft is Adameth and seven other members of the tribe. The raft is pushed into the water by Kalimah, Artima, Heavinus, Urca, and Etnu. Adameth. Those on the raft, dip their branches in the water and stroke backwards. It takes them some hours to get across the big body of water, to the other side. They reach the other side and start piling crops onto the raft until they can't pile no more. They use the rest of the hours of the day to get the little bit of crops on the raft across to the others. They continue doing this for days and nights. On the last load of crops, the weather began to turn dark and cloudy. Rain poured making the currents within the river, run wild. The raft was pulled downstream by the current, away from the area. Kalimah, Heavinus, Artima, Urca, Etnu, and the rest of the tribe; all witnessed this and were unable to figure out what to do. Adameth called out to Kalimah, saying, "Kalimah! Get everyone to gather the crops and head back to the garden!"
Kalimah in shock of him and the others being carried away by the current, just nods and continues to stand there watching them float away. Heavinus snaps Kalimah out her shock stasis, and gets her to focus on the task given by Adameth. Kalimah gets everyone to gather the crops into bundles so they can lug all of it back to the garden. They head southeast to the garden, but get thrown off course because of the dark rainy night. They head northeast in the wrong direction for an entire month. Realizing that they must be going the wrong way. Kalimah has everyone retrace their tracks. They run into crops they have not recognize before and decide to stop to eat them and restock up on fresh crops, then continue their journey, retracing their steps. They eventually reach the end of their tracks noticing their old tracks coming from a different direction, then continue west until they reach the river they traveled along when Adameth was with them. They use the river to make their way back to the garden. Once they have arrived, they are greeted by everyone except Khan and his men. Evena asks Kalimah about Adameth and the other missing people. Kalimah tells her that Adameth and the others were taken away by the current of a river on the raft they built. Evena sadden by such news, holds back her tears and helps with the crops. Kalimah reunites herself with Durgrah, and notices she is pregnant. Kalimah in shock asks, "You're with child."
Durgrah smiles and nods her head. Kalimah gives her a gentle hug and says, "Great for you. Now you will have a child of your own."
Everyone rejoices for the night, but Evena stays inside her shelter and cries while looking up at the stars in the sky, wondering if she will ever see Adameth ever again.
